A range of IP44 and IP67 CEE plugs and sockets are reliable and straightforward to assemble from Sunrise. The outer casing and inner contact carriers are constructed from a toughened engineering material designed to provide high thermal stability and mechanical strength. Solid brass contact pins ensure excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance. Our Sunrise plugs perform exceptionally well in the most challenging environments. Environmental Protection – IP Rating
The IP rating is composed of two numbers. The first number refers to protection from solid matter, the second number for protection against liquids. The higher the number the better the protection.
Colour Coding
In order to prevent connecting devices to an incorrect power source, BS EN 60309-2 / BS4343 and IEC 309 standard specify different rated voltages of different colors and different ground locations.
• Yellow, 100 V to 130 V
• Blue, 200 V to 250 V
• Red. 380 V to 480 V
• Black, 500 V to 1000 V
